About Nixit

Nixit is a team of infrastructure engineers based in Romania, working with companies across the EU. We take on the systems a business genuinely depends on: the ones where an outage stops production, delays shipments or breaks a regulatory obligation.

We are not a reseller and not a ticket-shuffling outsourcer. We take on work where real technical decisions have to be made, and we stay accountable for how those decisions play out.

How we work

We start with an assessment, not a quote. Before proposing anything we look at what already exists: architecture, configuration, contracts, single points of failure. Often the conclusion is that you do not need the thing you thought you needed.

Everything we build is documented. You get architecture diagrams, runbooks and the infrastructure code itself. If you decide to work with someone else next year, you can do that without rebuilding from scratch.

We automate before adding people. Repetitive operations end up in Terraform, Ansible or CI/CD pipelines. The result is identical environments, fewer human errors and fast recovery when something fails.

We say when a solution does not make sense. If the budget does not cover a sound architecture, we would rather explain the trade-offs than deliver something that collapses in a year.

Why an EU partner

Your data stays in the EU, handled by a team operating under the same regulations you do. GDPR is not a compliance layer we bolt on for foreign clients; it is the baseline we already work to.

For companies in scope of NIS2, we treat security, logging, access control and continuity requirements as architectural inputs rather than an audit exercise at the end. Retrofitting them costs several times more.

Working with a Romanian team also means overlapping business hours with the rest of Europe, engineers you can actually reach, and rates that make continuous engineering support viable rather than something you ration.

Where to find us

We work both on site and remotely. The Romanian version of this site is at nixit.ro.
